The Council Bluffs Veterinary Clinic is a small animal veterinary clinic located on the corner of South 3rd Streetand 13th Avenue, across from ConAgra Foods. We provide a variety of veterinary services to dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and ferrets. Please call ahead if you have other exotic pets requiring veterinary care to see what services we can offer them.

We are a walk-in clinic. We require appointments for surgical procedures and pet boarding. We are devoted to giving each pet as much of our time as they need.

If your pet is a current patient of the Council Bluffs Veterinary Clinic and you have an after hours emergency, you may call the clinic number at (712) 323-2147 to get the on-call doctor’s phone number.

Starting January 2010, our clinic will be closed from 12:00 - 1:00 pm on the first Wednesday of every month for staff development and training. If you have an emergency at that time, we will be happy to assist you and your pet. A phone number to contact in case of an emergency will be provided on our answer machine. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Our hours of operation are as follows:
Monday-Friday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, 1 veterinarian on duty 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm. Surgeries performed 8:30 am - 12:00 pm.
Saturday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, 1 veterinarian on duty 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm.

We will be closed on New Year’s Day (January 1), Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day (December 25).
We will close at 3:00 pm on Christmas Eve (December 24) & New Year's Eve (December 31).
On the first Wednesday of the month the clinic will be closed from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm.
