The Cosmetology program consists of 2100 hours of study that can be fulfilled within 60 weeks. A full-time student attends classes a minimum of 35 hours per week.
The Nail Technology program consists of 325 hours of study. (Des Moines location) A student attends a minimum of 28 hours per week and can complete the program within 12 weeks. (All other locations) A student attends a minimum of 21 hours per week and can complete the program within 15 weeks.
The Esthetics program consists of 600 hours of study and can be fulfilled within 20 weeks. A student that attends day classes, will attend a minimum of 30 hours per week. (Des Moines location only)
The Massage Therapy program consists of 650 hours of study. A student that attends day classes will attend a minimum of 25 hours per week and can complete the program within 26 weeks. A student that attends evening classes will attend a minimum of 16 hours per week and can complete the program in 41 weeks. (Program in Ankeny and Des Moines only)
The Instructor Training program consists of 1000 hours of study and can be fulfilled within 25 weeks. A student-teacher attends classes 40 hours per week. The 1000 hours consist of a minimum of 50 hours in teaching demonstrations, 175 hours of teaching observations, 250 hours of Science of Teaching, 525 hours in supervised practical instruction.
We offer financial aid for those who qualify through both Federal Pell Grants and Federal Direct Student loans.
