Hacking, phishing, and all forms of security intrusion are on the rise. Officials have found that many recent attacks could have been prevented if users had followed password best practices. ALWAYS select a password that is a minimum 8 characters, including 2 numeric characters. ALWAYS use a combination of mixed-case characters (for example: alpha, numeric, & special characters), using upper and lower case characters to create a seemingly random selection of letters and numbers. ALWAYS use a password that is easy to remember but hard to guess. Choose a line or two from a phrase, song, or a poem that has a personal meaning and use the first letter of each word. Example: "Ive got 12 friends in low places" becomes "ig12FiLp"
