Jaynie Mos Salon Spa Closes Business
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa, April 27, 2009: Jaynie Mos Salon Spa, a full service salon and spa located at 1501 Technology Parkway, Cedar Falls is announcing today the closing of business, effective immediately.
Jaynie Mos officially opened July 15, 2008, just prior to the economic downturn in the fall of 2008. Owners Jayne and Lea Ann Saul attribute this downturn for the decision to close. Many of our services are considered extras and it has been hard on our business during this tight economy. said Jayne Saul. Since there has not yet been signs of any major economic improvement, we had to cut our losses now, she adds.
Jaynie Mos employed a staff of 10, consisting of stylists, estheticians, massage therapists, cosmetologists, and nail technicians. The employees have been given client contact information for them to continue their careers and to serve customers. We felt that was the least we could do to help our employees as they seek employment elsewhere, adds Jayne.
Jayne and Lea Ann want to thank Jaynie Mos customers for their support. We loved pampering our customers, thats what we were known for, said Jayne.
Jayne comes from an entrepreneurial family and there are always risks when starting a business. She feels that she learned a lot and enjoyed working with her mom Lea Ann. My family has always been driven to fulfill a need that is not being metwe had some really unique products and services to offer, but when it comes down to it, youre not going to spend money on those luxuries when times are tough, said Jayne. Due to the economy, the timing to start this business was not right, but who knows what the future will bring, maybe there will be another time for Jaynie Mos...
