Chris Maakestad started Accounting Solutions in 2004 with the goal of supplying accounting services to small businesses at affordable prices. She recognizes one of the major challenges in small business is focusing on marketing products and services while juggling the overwhelming amount of details that managing a business requires. Hiring a professional accountant to handle the books will provide the assurance that this critical business element is appropriately managed. Chris offers first class service at reasonable, affordable rates. She also offers a personalized service which small business owners require in order to meet their different accounting needs. Current clients include store-front retail and home-based retail, restaurants, construction companies, realtors and service based businesses.
One of Chris' priorities is keeping up-to-date with the changing tax laws, which benefits her clients. She attends several professional accounting and tax preparation seminars every year and has a library full of accounting and tax journals that keep her informed of tax law changes.
