Consumer Credit Counseling
Don, one of our Certified Credit Counselors, recently received a note from clients Steve and Sherri with whom he had been working for the past several years. The note states, Per our phone conversation today, we have two balances left on credit cards. I made the final payment on one today and will be making the other one prior to its due date. Of course this is bittersweet. Were thrilled that we are making our final payments, but will miss our interaction with you. You and the program have been great to work with and I thank you for all that you did to help us.

"Mommy, I'm still HUNGRY!" pleads 3 year old Maddie as she finishes the canned soup her family had for supper. Her mother wishes there had been bread to serve with the soup but they have been out of bread for 5 days.

Imagine how heart wrenching Maddie's words are to hear if you are her mother and do not have enough food for your family. Center For Siouxland helps families like Maddie's everyday by providing food from their pantry and referring families to additional services that they may be able to benefit from.
Please consider making a donation to ensure that services are available when someone has needs. Center For Siouxland programs include: a pantry, utility assistance, prescription assistance, Consumer Credit Counseling, housing counseling, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, 2-1-1 Center, Bridges West transitional housing for the homeless and Client Trust.
