Discovery Classes On Sunday
Are you considering membership at Stonebrook but not sure what we believe or what kind of commitment we expect? We'll be offering three classes this month so you can discover the answers. The first two classes will take place during second service on Sunday mornings, October 17th and 24th, and the final classes will be on Sunday evening, October 31st.

Satellite Voting at Stonebrook on October 31st
On Sunday, October 31st, Stonebrook will also be open for satellite voting from 8am--2pm. Any Story County resident can stop in to fill out an absentee ballot on site. Stonebrook members please note that we will ask that you not park in the first row of parking spots that day [except handicapped] to accommodate area voters.

For anyone who would like to get baptized, we've reserved the baptistry at Grand Avenue Church next Sunday after second service. We ask that you contact the office or a pastor as soon as possible if you are considering baptism.

Thanksgiving Dinner Potluck
Plan to join us after second service on November 14th for a Thanksgiving potluck. We will take apart the chairs in the auditorium and set up tables. We hope you will bring some food to share and plan to stay.

Fundraiser Concert Features Stonebrook Women
Stonebrook women, directed by Wendy Ziebol, will be participating in the Good Neighbor 2010 Annual combined Choir Concert. Come support this fundraiser featuring performances by more than 12 choirs and musical ensembles from area faith groups. Good Neighbor provides emergency rent, utility and food assistance thanks to the support of its member faith groups. Who We Are
We are a Christian community in Ames Iowa devoted to helping each other discover and fulfill God’s unique plan and purpose for our lives through his Son, Jesus Christ.
We believe that God and His Word, the Bible, are relevant and applicable to everyday life. We gather for worship, fellowship and teaching in a contemporary and casual atmosphere, and we strengthen our connections with God and each other in small groups that meet in homes during the week.
