Congratulations to Jim Bauer for winning the 2010 IBS 1000 Yard National Championships with rifles built by Gordy!!

Four out of the past six IBS National Championships were won by competitors shooting rifles built by Gordy: Lee Fischer won in 2005 and again in 2006, Edward Nazy won in 2009, and now Jim Bauer won in 2010.

The "Extreme Accuracy Institute" is a custom gunsmithing school created by master gunsmith Gordy Gritters for the purpose of teaching hobbyists/do-it-yourselfers as well as professional gunsmiths the fine art of accurizing rifles and building extremely accurate custom rifles.

Gordy teaches classes in precision gunsmithing and long range shooting which have been attended by people from all over the world. Gordy is also in the process of producing the "Extreme Accuracy Series" of precision gunsmithing instructional DVD's that are being sold worldwide.
We also operate a full-time custom gunsmithing shop, specializing in building extremely accurate rifles. We build 1000 yard benchrest rifles, short range benchrest rifles, F-class rifles, tactical rifles, varmint rifles, and hunting rifles, as well as accurizing factory rifles.

Our rifles have set many records and won numerous matches, including Regional and National championships, over the past 23+ years!!
