In Waukee, Iowa and Westerly, Rhode Island, Newbury builds and sells beautiful open-plan ranch-style homes. Each home features a first-floor master bedroom and opens up to trees or meadow in the rear.

Senior Retirement Communities
At three locations in Iowa -- Des Moines, Iowa City, and Perry -- Newbury operates senior retirement campuses.

Newbury manages 54 apartment complexes in Iowa and one in southern Minnesota. Many of our properties are market rate -- available to renters of all income levels -- and others are rent-restricted under the Section 42 ("Tax Credit"), RD 515, or HUD Section 8 programs. Our firm has a particular expertise in refinancing, renovating and repositioning affordable housing complexes.

Our companies were founded by Jim Levy who infused our culture with his passion for real estate development and commitment to provide exceptional value. Jim entered real estate on the East Coast in 1960 and moved to Iowa in 1973. Whether serving luxury or income-restricted customers, and whether focused on for-sale or rental properties, he always strove to create something beautiful, even if the market was not prepared to pay full value for that beauty.
