When this event sells out and in the spirit of Thanksgiving, Flying Mango will be making a $500 donation to Food Bank of Iowa from the proceeds of this event. If guests wish to bring their checkbooks to the event, we will include any guest contributions with ours.
The Food Bank of Iowa serves about 15,000 different people in any given week with emergency food assistance. Many clients report having to choose between food and other necessities, such as utility payments, rent or mortgage payments, medical care or gasoline.
