Lindblom Services, Inc. was created by Thomas D. Lindblom in 1969, when he was 22 years old. Tom was a firefighter at the time, and in Sioux City the firefighters work a schedule where they are on duty for 24 hours and then off for 48 hours, giving them time to work a second job. Tom started the business by pumping septic tanks for individual residences.
