About Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R)
Child Care Resource & Referral of Southwest Iowa (CCR&R) is a non-profit organization that helps people who care for and about children. CCR&R provides referrals, resources, education and advocacy to help meet your communitys need for affordable and accessible child care. We charge a small registration fee for some classes. All other services are free.
Because your needs are unique, we tailor our services to your specific needs rather than a one-size-fits-all solution. We provide guidance by phone, in person, on the internet and in other ways. We offer the following services:

Refer your business to parents looking for childcare and early childhood education, or out-of-school-time care

Help in starting childcare, early education, or out-of-school-time programs

Training and professional development

Telephone and on-site assistance related to operating a successful childcare or education business

On-site consultation in Child Development Homes

On-site consultation in infant and toddler programs through Iowa PITC

A support system for your child care, early childhood education, or out-of-school-time concerns

Local child care and early education data on cost, availability, need, and other issues

Development of new child care resources

Advocacy at federal, state and local levels
