Welcome The Dance Studio has been operating in
Le Mars for the past Twenty years and in Sheldon for Twenty one years. We stress proper training in a Wide range of dance styles in order to offer a complete dance education.
Our faculty has been well trained in many areas of dance and are constantly attending workshops, conventions, competitions and meetings in order to stay current in the dance field. We provide our students the opportunity to study with different master teachers and dancers throughout the year by attending dance conventions and master classes. A number of students have participated in Ballet Sioux's productions as well as their Jazz Company.
The Dance Studio understands that most students interest in dance does not extend to the professional field. Some of our dancers, however, continue to dance past high school and obtain dance-related jobs teaching in various cities around the country and even dancing on Cruise ships.
The director, Tina McMurray, is a member of Dance Masters of America and is certified by test to teach.

The Dance Studio, Inc., is performing "The Nutcracker" on November 27 2010 at the Le Mars Community Middle School. Performance time is 7:00 p.m. Pre-Sale Tickets Adults: $6.00 // 12 & Under 5.00 at the Door is $8.00 // 12 & Under 7.00 -------------------------------- We are still looking for people to fill parts.
We need upper level dancers that can dance on pointe.
