We built our web site to guide you through some of the different residential projects we have done. We hope these pages will show the quality and attention to detail we put into every home.

Energy efficeiency is a priority to us. We use energy efficient corners, headers above windows insulated with stryofoam for more R-value, 2x6 construction, and all doors and windows are foam sealed. We have used Nu-Wool cellulose insulation in all of our projects for over 13 years. Nu-Wool has a three-year energy guarantee like none other on the market. Butler Construction is an Alliant Energy dealer and builder.

In our projects all exterior wall plates are caulked to seal them. Energy-efficient doors and windows are used and all walls have an effectiver R value of 25 and attics an R value of 50.

Making efficient use of space for maximum use and storage is one of our specialties. We also offer a variety of ceiling types such as tray, race track, upside-down wedding cake, barrel vaults and coffered. A varienty of textures is offered for ceilings and walls.

Stone work inside and out and tile and wood floors are also a popular option.
