Spirits to Iraq?
The Professional Dance Teamis on stand-by for a 10 day celebrity tour in Iraq. The news came inDecember 2008 fromGail with Starfish Eventsin California. Gailcontacted Tiffany to let her know the troops were looking fora Professional Dance Team andthe Spiritswere chosen. Tiffany has stated: "I hope we get the opportunity to fulfill such a great honor andthis would be amemory the team and I would never forget! Thanks for thinking of the SpiritsandI hope to work with Gail inmy future!"

What has been going on?
We sure have been performing! We have met so manySpirit fans, please don't stop emailing! Here are just a couple of events below. The Hog Wild Days Parade was a hit! The weather was perfect. John Harmeswith the Great Jones County Fair is wonderful to work with. John and his staff make a great team. May Spirit Girl of the Month & Birthdays!
Our May Spirit Girl of the Month is Kady. She is a Tiny Spirit and Crystal her coach loves having her in class! Congratulations Kady! The Spirit Stick gave Kady luck becuase she had a nightmare and it went away when she hugged it close to her! What cute pictures Kady on your Spirit Girl Form. We didn't have that many May Birthdays but Happy Birthday to the Girls that had them! Oh and we can't forget Amy & Crystal Kuehl...Two coaches (Juniors & Tinys) celebrated their birthdays this month as well!

Tiffany’s Bucket List!
What were a few of the Spirit Professional Dance Team Members doing this last weekend? Well, celebrating Tiffany Kuehl's Birthday. If you remember Tiffany turned 40 in Februaryand a few of her closest friends gave her a gift. A gift off her Bucket List. One of her Bucket List adventures were to see the one and only, Goo Goo Dolls in concert! Spirits Photo Shoot
We are getting ready for the 2010 Spirit Posters/Calendars! The Professional Dance Team had their 2010 Photo Shoot at Read Photography on Friday, April 30th. The Spirit Studio had their shots done a couple of weeks prior. Jon Read has always been a supportive sponsor of the CR Spirits. Tiffany met Jon back when she was a Silver Bullet CBA Cheerleader. A business relationship that turned into a wonderful friendship has kept these two still working together. Cedar Rapids Kernels 1st Baseball Game of the Season!
The Cedar Rapids Kernels Baseball Season is off to a great start! The CR Spirits Professional Dance Team performed Thursday, April 8th for their first game of the season. It may have been a little chilly, but once the dancing began everyone got warmed up for the start of a great evening game. We hope the Kernels enjoyed the show! Good Luck this season...and will be at many more games! Tiffany had a wonderful conversation with Scott Wilson the Assistant General Manager with the Kernels. She said she will never forget and will never let Scott forget either!

St. Patrick’s Day Parade
What can we say, the St. Patrick's Day Parade was a blast! I think there were more people there to watch the parade and enjoy the daythen ever before! Fun Fact: Back in 1994 the St. Patrick's Day Parade was the CR Spiritsfirst event they ever did! The CR Spirits Professional Dance Team teamed up with DPI Quality Custom Finishes for this parade. Cory Kintzel, project manager for DPI, was driving one of the DPI Vans. Mark Debner,president of DPI,was driving a trailer full of SPIRITS! It was hard to have 14Spirits dancing on a moving trailer.
