Becoming a member of the Humane Society of Scott County (HSSC) is an excellent way to contribute and to stay informed of events. HSSC Membershp makes a thoughtful holiday gift.
Tess is an awesome 98 pound black and tan Shepherd mix. She is super friendly and sweet, loves everything and everybody. Tess is very good about keeping her kennel clean and going potty when taken outside. Tess also knows "sit" and "speak."

Snuggles is a gorgeous little 6 year old domestic short hair white kitty who was brought to us because of "allergies." What's sad about Snuggles, besides the fact that he ends up in a shelter after 6 years in a home is that previous owners say Snuggles is afraid of strangers. However, even though every one that comes to meet him are considered strangers he is becoming more and more outgoing and affectionate. He loves attention and loves snuggles on blankets. Snuggles is litterbox trained, neutered, front declawed and good with kids. Previous owners say Snuggles loves to chase strings.
