Whiterock Conservancy (WRC) is seeking an experienced Land Manager to be stationed at WRC's headquarters near Coon Rapids, Iowa. This position will lead WRC's multi-use land management activities, including land restoration efforts, pasture and cropland management and recreation lands management.

Want to learn more about Iowa's geology and natural history? Do you have or wish to develop skills in prairie restoration? Join Whiterock Conservancy staff and volunteers on 12/11/10 for a prairie kame restoration day and help us remove trees and shrubs from a native prairie remnant located on WRC's kame.
A kame is a cone-shaped hill or mound composed of sand, gravel and till that accumulates in a depression of a retreating glacier.
