Wil-A-Lo is situated on over three acres of beautifully wooded property in the heart of northwest Des Moines—convenient to all the western suburbs. (Just north of the Westover Funeral Home)
For over 50 years, Wil-A-Lo Kennels has been Des Moines’ most respected boarding and grooming facility, noted for its clean, comfortable facilities, outstanding grooming services, personalized pet care, and friendly staff. Tom has owned Wil-A-Lo since 1987. Brenda our Kennel Manager has been with us over 10 years. Bob & Tiffany have been working at the kennel for over 3 years.

We are open seven days-a-week for drop-off and pick-up.

Monday-Friday: 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Each pet gets his or her own spacious indoor/outdoor run

Complimentary food and treats
(if preferred, bring your own if your pet is on a special diet)

Outside exercise four times a day
(vs. two or three at most other kennels and vet clinics)

Property monitored by the owners 24-hours-a-day

Wil-A-Lo is licensed by the state of Iowa, therefore, we require current shot records for your pet.

Wil-A-Lo takes great care of my pets while I am traveling. My line of business causes me to away from home a lot and I want care comparable to what my pets receive at home Wil-A-Lo gives my pets that care.
